About NYCRAA
The NY Capital Region Apartment Association (NYCRAA) was founded with the purpose of joining together small and large owners of real estate for their mutual benefit. The organization is comprised of owners and managers of multi-family rental properties and other entities such as vendors, who work in fields related to the housing industry. Through an organized program of information, project development and educational seminars, the Association keeps its members informed on all phases of the multi-family housing industry.
After joining NYCRAA you also receive the benefits of being a member of the National Apartment Association (NAA). The combinations of NYCRAA connecting you with local resources, training, support and legislative representation and the NAA offering resources and information that can only come from a national organization insure your investment as being sound.
NAA prides itself in being America’s leading advocate for quality rental housing representing more than 32,000 members and 5.2 million apartment homes. No other organization can boast of such widespread support in the apartment industry.
Continuing education will be a primary focus of NYCRAA. Through our affiliation with the NAA we are able to offer designations to Managers, Maintenance Technicians and Leasing Professionals. In addition we will be offering various Seminars throughout the year which in combination with our Membership meetings will feature speakers covering legislative, industry and civic concerns.
NYCRAA members who are owners and managers recognize a supplier’s membership in our organization as being supportive of our local education and legislative efforts. As such supplier/vendor members will have the opportunity to meet and network with the purchasing and decision makers of these multi-family properties in a relaxed friendly environment via our Mixers and Monthly Meetings. Membership will bring recognition to your company and demonstrate your support of our organization to promote, improve, enhance and protect our local multi-family apartment industry.
